Who we are

ReturnDesk provides back-office software for licensed State Marshals. This policy explains what information we handle and how.

Information we collect

• Account information from your Google or Microsoft sign-in — your name and email address, used to identify your account.
• The records you enter — your cases, clients, debtor details, executions, fees and trust-account entries.
• Security and usage logs — sign-ins, sessions, devices and actions, used to secure your account and maintain the audit trail.

How we use it

To provide and operate the service, secure your account, prevent credential sharing, and support you. That’s it.

We do not sell your data

We never sell or rent your data, and we don’t use your records to train third-party AI models. We share information only with the service providers needed to run ReturnDesk (for example, hosting and email delivery), under contract and only as needed.

Your data is yours

You can export your records at any time. You control your book; we hold it on your behalf.

Data retention

We keep your records while your subscription is active, for the seven-year period State Marshals are expected to retain records. We do not retain data for accounts that stop paying: if you cancel or lapse, we export and send you all of your data and then delete it from our servers. Returning later requires reactivation and reimport of your data, which carries a one-time fee of $199.

Your data is encrypted and walled off from every other Marshal’s account. See the Security page for details.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking.

Your choices

You may access, correct, export or delete your data. Email us and we’ll help.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll post the new version here and update the date above.
